Teagan's Got The Hiccups!!!

Teagan has been getting the hiccups a lot lately and although its annoying when I'm trying to sleep, its really funny to see. I managed to get a little on video and you can even see her move around a little in the beginning and end of the clip!!!

"There has not been an overwhelming amount of research on fetal hiccupping in the womb, although there is some speculation as to why it happens. First of all, only more mature fetuses hiccup in the womb because their central nervous system is adequately developed in order to allow this to happen. It is believed that the fetus breathes in amniotic fluid or drinks it. When this happens and the amniotic fluid enters and exists the fetus lungs then the diaphragm contracts and hiccups results."

A Few Steps

Kinley has been taking a few steps at a time and I finally got it on video today!

Halloween 2009

Kinley's 1st Halloween! Kevin wanted her to be a chicken and seeing how it was 40 degrees outside, she was a chicken! We didn't go 'trick or treating' but we did take all of our candy and some food and went down to the neighbors to hang out, cook and pass out candy! We had a blast, but now Kinley is sick :( The first time our baby has been sick, ever! We feel very lucky that this the first time she's been sick. It doesn't seem to be that bad, she just has a runny nose and a tiny cough. Hopefully, she will feel better before Teagan gets here...in 15 days!!!!

Pumpkin Patch 2009

We took Kinley to Goebbert's Pumpkin Farm on Tuesday! We had such a good time and she loved it!
